Echo Bend Camping Park

The Echo Bend Camping park Officially Opened in 1988. Owners Rowly & Idy Webb along with Geoff & Julie, spent 12 months preparing the grounds, building the amenities block and the Bark Hut Kiosk/Tea room, utilising materials found on the property. The Camp Park was a dream come true for the family to start a business, where people could come to camp and enjoy themselves away from the hustle & bustle of the city life. A quiet bush setting, with short walks to enjoy The Mitchell River National Park.

To be able to relax sitting by an open fire, spinning a yarn with family & friends, enjoying the abundance of birds, wildlife and the stars. The family business has been operating now for 35 years and still has the same atmosphere of the early days. A huge variety of people have visited over the years and have made good friendship with the now -owners Julie & Geoff.

ACCOMMODATION: Powered sites, unpowered sites and On-site vans.

AMENITIES: Showers. Toilets and Laundry.

BARK HUT KIOSK/TEAROOM: Bark Hut Kiosk /Tearoom is open in peak times or by request. Ice creams, pies, sausage rolls, cold drinks, coffee, slices, scones, lollies.

MERCHANDISE: Echo Bend Camping Park Merchandise available at the Kiosk, t-shirts, jumpers, stubby holders and pens.

Special Occasions: Echo Bend Camping Park is a beautiful setting for social events, birthdays & weddings.
