The Gippsland Armed Forces Museum highlights the role played by Gippslanders in our Defence Forces.
A regional military museum, it researches, educates and exhibits art, film, heraldry, photographs, private records and technology to illustrate the role Gippsland men and women have played in the Defence of our country in times of war and peace since 1885.
The Gippsland Armed Forces Museum was opened in December 2003 by a committee established in the year 2000.
The Gippsland Armed Forces Museum is a non-profit organisation and is level 1 accredited with Museums Australia.
The Museum includes a Research Library where you can search through family histories, books and logs. A computer is also available for electronic research.
Volunteers are always welcome.

The Gippsland Armed Forces Museum will be open for the duration of the ANZAC Weekend Airshow! - Entry is free for all ticket holders, so don't forget to check out the huge amount of history on offer during your visit.
