Golden Beach

Golden and Paradise Beach are situated within the Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park, and feature a wide range of wildlife, often viewed at dawn or dusk.

Check out the remains of the Trinculo Shipwreck and take in the stunning stretch of beautiful, golden sand. This beach is excellent for fishing, swimming , surfing and a leisurely stroll along the coast.

There are some great walks through coastal banksias and tea trees with a chance to see a wide variety of birdlife. Walk through the dunes of the Ninety Mile Beach which feature thick tea tree forest which are home to ringtail possums and bandicoots. There are ideal spots to camp along the Ninety Mile Beach at one of the many camping grounds along Shoreline Drive. A popular fishing spot all year round, Golden Beach hosts fishing carnivals in summer.
