Littles Gippsland Coaches

Little’s Gippsland Coaches Pty Ltd was begun by Jim Little around 1945.

Jim Started in the 1930 with a service station then added taxi’s and trucks. Then toward the end of World War 2 he brought his first bus to transport troops for the government. After the War he began transporting children and then the Bus Company began.

Jim sold the business to Bill Ridgeway in 1969. Bill with a partner ran the Bus Company till Bill’s Death in 1980. Bill’s son Kevin with his wife Margaret took over and under their control the company doubled in size. Little’s Gippsland Coaches is a family business and is in the process of the next generation taking over the reins.
