With extensive coastal lagoons, salt marshes and native grasslands, Jack Smith Lake State Game Reserve is a must-stop! The reserve provides valuable feeding and nesting habitat for a range of water birds so be sure to keep a look out for some feathered friends. Enjoy bush camping on the open grassy plains or within the shade of a stand of banksias. Try your luck fishing within the pounding surf of the Bass Strait along the 90 Mile Beach.

The Jack Smith Lake area is a haven for twitchers, with many habitats for a wide range of water birds to be found. With approximately 145 bird species sighted by fellow bird enthusiasts, you'll be set for a great day out in the field.
