Situated on the Main Road, on the corner of the Hyland Highway, the Gormandale Mechanics Institute and Hall was built back in 1932. It is a fantastic venue for dances, weddings, engagements, and any other reason to celebrate.

The foundation stone of the Gormandale Mechanics Institute Hall was laid by Mrs E Power on 15 Mar 1932, this beautifully constructed building was designed by architect AC Leith and constructed by JW Pinnock.

The Hall has become a community hub, with many public celebrations taking place within the Hall, or on the grounds. You'll also find Markets held on the ground with a great variety of stallholders in attendance!
