Welcome to the heart of Heyfield’s sporting and community life! Situated on Gordon Street right near the central hub of our town, the Gordon Street Recreation Reserve is a premium, modern precinct designed for play, fitness, and gathering.
Following a series of major redevelopments—featuring a beautiful social pavilion wrapped in locally sourced IronAsh timber—our reserve stands as a world-class facility that brings local athletes, families, and visitors together. Whether you are stepping onto the field, cheering from the sidelines, or hosting a community event, Gordon Street is where Heyfield connects.

Gordon Street is proudly shared by a vibrant mix of seasonal clubs, community groups, and recreational users.
As a proud member of the North Gippsland Football Netball League, the HFNC calls Gordon Street home throughout the winter months. The reserve buzzes with energy on match days as juniors, seniors, and netball teams hit the ovals and courts under the roar of a passionate local crowd.
When the weather warms up, the sound of leather on willow echoes across the reserve. The Heyfield Cricket Club utilizes the main oval and practice nets, nurturing local talent from junior blasters right up to senior competitive grades.
With excellent court infrastructure positioned right in the precinct, local tennis enthusiasts gather here for social hitting, organized club competitions, and community coaching clinics.
The precinct offers versatile spaces that cater to casual basketball, community fitness programs, and local schools using the open ovals for athletics and carnival days.
It’s not just about sport! The extended community pavilion serves as a function space available for hire. Thanks to its flexible design, it is frequently used for:
