38° South Charters is a small family run business based in Port Albert. Your guide and skipper Mark has over 30 years commercial experience in both fishing charters and offshore maritime work. Mark has expert knowledge of the local waters, tides and seasonal patterns having spent many years both exploring and fishing for Whiting, Gummy Shark, Snapper, Flathead, Kingfish, Tuna, Australian Salmon and Squid.

Stabicraft 2350 Supercab is our latest charter vessel and has been custom built for ultimate performance and comfort - yes there's even a toilet onboard!

We offer a personalised approach and tailor the trip to your skill level and preferences. Whether you are experienced fishos or novices, we provide active mentorship, sharing tips & techniques. We also ensure that we offer high quality equipment, premium gear (Shimano rods & reels, Blackmagic tackle) and superior customer service create a memorable experience.

Off-shore and inlet fishing charters available. Departure from Port Albert or Port Welshpool.
