Sale is filled is beautiful green spaces including Lake Gutheridge, Lake Guyatt and the Sale Botanic Gardens. A couple of minutes' drive down the road you'll find the historic Swing Bridge, Australia's first moveable that allows steamboats to journey up the river. The surrounding wetlands are known as Sale Common where you can wind your way through native woodlands, salt marshes and grassland by boardwalk.
