Parks Week celebrates the crucial role that parks play in fostering livable cities and vibrant communities. This annual event brings together communities right across Australia and New Zealand to appreciate and engage with their local parks and open spaces.
A fun day for children aged 0-7 and their parents or carers, featuring a jumping castle, face painting, petting zoo and Aurora the Mushroom Fairy with bubbles
The morning will begin with a traditional welcome to the event, featuring an official opening ceremony dance performed by the local Indigenous group, Wulgunggo Ngalu
Activities and services include fun with Wellington Shire Council staff, Uniting Care, Mel's Menagerie, NDIS, Proactive Policing Operative from Wellington Victoria Police, and the Toy Library
