Alchemy Films are taking their Tasmanian tiger documentary film on tour in South Gippsland, a hotspot of Thylacine sightings on mainland Australia! 

Eye Like Diamonds, an official selection at the 2026 Melbourne Documentary Film Festival, will have a special screening at The Regent Theatre, Sunday night 12th July at 7.00pm.

Eyes Like Diamonds follows passionate conservationist Neil Waters on his relentless mission to prove the Tasmanian Tiger still exists.
Through Neil’s journey, the film explores the ethics of extinction, the limits of evidence, and the enduring human need to find purpose in something greater than ourselves.

The director, Jonathon Buckland, and the Thylacine Awareness Group of Australia president, Neil Waters, will be attending and holding a casual Q&A after the screening.
