2025 GDBC PWC Race Weekend Round 1

Get ready for an exciting PWC race weekend at the Glenmaggie District Boat Club!

Are you excited for the PWC closed course racing in Victoria in 2025? We’re thrilled to announce another fantastic event hosted by the Glenmaggie & District Boat Club (GDBC).

The event will take place at GDBC, located at Lake Glenmaggie, near 15-25 Glenfalloch Rd, Glenmaggie VIC 3858.

BEGINNER'S INFORMATION

• BEGINNERS will compete only against other riders with a beginner's license.
• For first-time riders, you will have the opportunity to learn the track by following our track coordinator during practice laps in your class group. After that, you’ll need to navigate the track on your own.
• Only riders with Expert/Pro licenses can enter the GP Ski & GP Runabout classes.

This event spans two days, with Saturday dedicated to training for Beginners (mandatory). A satisfactory completion of this training is required for all beginner riders to participate in Sunday’s races.

***This event is sanctioned by the AJSBA and includes public liability insurance, along with all necessary permits and exemptions as required by local laws and MSV.

***Please remember that PWC racing can be dangerous. All competitors must adhere to the rules and directions set by our committee and Race Director. Failure to comply may lead to disciplinary actions, including disqualification or removal from the event for safety violations.

• The AJSBA recommends that all riders have ambulance coverage and PWC insurance.

• The AJSBA enforces a Drug and Alcohol Policy. By participating, you agree to undergo testing if required at any time.
